Zemeckis' Flash Facts

So Robert Zemeckis was just announced as being in discussions to direct the WB's Flash movie (oh is that still on?), which immediately put me in mind of another fast film franchise he directed. And auteur theory being what it is at Warner's, here's what you can expect from Zemeckis' Flash:

1. When the Flash hits 88 mph, he immediately enters the Speed Force and is displaced in time.
2. In the movie, he has to go back in time and save his mother from Professor Zoom, who is just a big bully.
3. His time trip makes him temporarily lose his powers, which he must reaquire by getting hit by lightning again.
4. Libyans.
5. "Something is wrong with gravity" explains those random absurd sequences in BvS.
6. The second film will have the Flash go back where the Cinematic DC Universe is dark and dystopic; happily, he prevents this future and voids all the other films set in that universe.
7. The third film is this:
Did I get it right, you think? The rumors are already being squashed, so probably not, but it's fun to dream. And a lot of my dreams seem to be about troubled productions.

The only thing you missed is that Zoom is actually going to be Judge Zoom, who kills speedsters by dipping them in a combination of turpentine, acetone, and benzene. It's only at the end of the movie that we find out Zoom is a speedster himself!

(Nice post, btw!)
