Type: The real dealAfter Superman went out into space on one of his now routine soul-searching walkabouts, he landed himself on Mongul's Warworld, and I really like what his costume devolved into. The cape makes a great toga (and matching headband) to go with Warworld's gladiatorial wear.

It's Superman the Barbarian by George Perez! What's not to love?

How long did that Superman in Space bit run? I wasn't really paying attention, but I thought it was forever. (And I love the false start in Invasion! Supes is leaving, then gets called back!)

It lasted 6 months across two titles (Action was Action Comics Weekly during this time and not part of the usual cycle). So about a year's worth of monthlies.
